In Paris, the end of one lease and the start of the next rarely fall on the same day. Storage bridges the gap: we collect your furniture from the old flat, keep it, and deliver it to the new one when you are ready.
When storage helps
- Your lease ends before the new one starts.
- The new flat is being renovated and the work is running late.
- You leave Paris for an internship, a semester abroad or a long assignment, and want to keep your furniture for when you return.
- You move into a furnished flat for a few months while you look for a long-term home.
- Your company is between two offices.
How it works
- Quote. You tell us the volume, the collection address with its floor and access, and how long you expect to store. We call you back within 24 hours, 7 days a week, and send a free written quote.
- Collection. The team comes with the service level you chose, from Economy, where you pack your boxes, to Comfort, where we pack everything. Furniture is wrapped in moving blankets and mattresses go into covers.
- Storage. Your belongings stay in storage for as long as you need, charged by the month.
- Delivery. When you know your new address and date, we deliver to your new home. Delivery is quoted separately, according to the address and the access.
What storage costs
Storage is charged per block of 8 m³ per month, and a block you start counts in full.
| Volume | Example | Blocks of 8 m³ | Per month, excl. VAT | Per month, incl. VAT |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 12 m³ | Studio | 2 | €160 | €192 |
| 18 m³ | 1-bedroom flat | 3 | €240 | €288 |
| 25 m³ | 2-bedroom flat | 4 | €320 | €384 |
| 35 m³ | 3-bedroom flat | 5 | €400 | €480 |
| 50 m³ | 4-bedroom flat or house | 7 | €560 | €672 |
On top of the monthly fee, the collection is priced like a move: the volume at the rate of your service level, plus €30 per floor without a lift, €250 for a furniture lift (half a day) if one is needed and €90 per item over 80 kg, all excluding VAT. A 12 m³ studio stored for three months comes to €480 excl. VAT in storage fees, plus the collection and the delivery.
These are estimates from our current price list, and your written quote confirms them. Our moving prices page shows the cost of the move itself by volume and service level.
Preparing your belongings for storage
- Use closed boxes in a few standard sizes. They stack better and are easier to count. Label each box on two sides.
- Defrost the fridge and freezer the day before collection, then dry them completely to avoid mould.
- Clean and dry everything that goes in. Damp textiles and furniture can go mouldy over several months.
- Take apart beds, tables and wardrobes, and tape the screws in a bag to each piece. From the Economy + service upwards, we do this for you.
- Make a list of what goes in, with photos of the main pieces.
- Keep jewellery, cash, papers and hard drives with you.
Storage with a mover or self-storage
Self-storage chains rent you a unit, and you bring your things yourself, usually with a hired van and a few friends. With our storage, one team collects, stores and delivers, and the whole job sits in a single written quote. Your quote and our written exchanges can be in English, which makes the collection and the delivery easier to organise if you do not speak French.
