In France, removal firms price a move by volume, measured in cubic metres (m³), and by service level. Distance, stairs and access come on top. The tables below use our current price list for a typical move within Paris, so you can see a realistic order of cost before you ask for a quote.
Prices for a move within Paris
The tables assume a 10 km trip, a lift or a ground-floor flat at both addresses, no special items and a date booked more than three days ahead. They are estimates from our current price list. The price you pay is the one in your written quote, once we have checked your volume, your access and your date.

What each service level includes
- Economy: you pack and unpack your belongings and take furniture apart. We protect furniture with moving blankets, put mattresses in covers, pack your TV and computer equipment, then load, drive and place everything in the right rooms.
- Economy +: the same, plus furniture taken apart and reassembled, clothes moved on hangers in wardrobe boxes, and boxes and tape supplied on request.
- Standard: the service most of our customers choose. On top of Economy +, we apply for the parking permit, pack and unpack fragile items (china, glassware, ornaments), protect mirrors and paintings and disconnect household appliances. You pack books, linen and folded clothes.
- Comfort: we pack everything, unpack on request, and you keep one contact person from quote to delivery.
What changes the price
These amounts come from the same price list, all excluding VAT:
- Distance: the trip between the two addresses. The tables above include 10 km.
- Stairs: €30 per floor without a lift, at each address. A fifth-floor walk-up adds €150.
- Furniture lift (monte-meuble), which takes furniture through a window: €250 for half a day, per address.
- A courtyard to cross between the street and the building: €120 per address.
- An extra stop on the way, for example to collect furniture from a second address: €200 per stop.
- Any item over 80 kg, such as a large fridge-freezer: €90 each.
- Short notice: 15% extra when the move is three days away or less. For an urgent request, call us on +33 7 82 14 34 72.
- Minimum charge: €250.
Insurance is included up to a declared value of €10,000. Above that, extra cover costs 1.6% of the value over €10,000.
Two examples
A student leaves a room on the sixth floor of a building with no lift and moves 5 m³ of boxes and small furniture to a flat with a lift, 10 km away, with the Economy service. The total comes to €375 excl. VAT (€450 incl. VAT), of which €180 is for the six floors.
A couple moves a 2-bedroom flat of 25 m³ within Paris with the Standard service. Their sofa does not fit in the new building’s staircase, so a furniture lift is needed on arrival. The total comes to €1,520 excl. VAT (€1,824 incl. VAT).
Paris buildings and your price
Many Paris flats are in older buildings with narrow staircases and small lifts, or no lift at all. That is why floors and furniture lifts appear as separate lines. In Paris, the truck also needs a parking permit from the city, requested at least 15 days before the move. With the Standard and Comfort services we make the application for you.
